Combine the hidden villages of East Sikkim with the lively capital, Gangtok. Begin at riverside Rishikhola, roll on to Aritar and Lingtam, then cross the high Silk Route past Zuluk's zigzag bends, Kupup Lake and Tsomgo Lake before descending to Gangtok., Two nights in Gangtok leave time for its monasteries, waterfalls and viewpoints and a stroll on M.G. Marg. With comfortable resorts and guest houses, meals included and a private vehicle throughout, this is an easy, scenic introduction to Sikkim's mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra / NJP – Rishikhola

Pick-up from Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and drive to Rishikhola. Check in and unwind beside the river.

Overnight: Rishikhola

Day 2: Rishikhola – Lingtam with Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Lingtam with sightseeing en route: Aritar Lake, Mankhim Viewpoint, Vinayak Mandir and Aritar Monastery. Check in at your stay.

Overnight: Lingtam

Day 3: Lingtam – Gangtok across the Silk Route

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok with sightseeing en route: Kuekhola Falls, Padamchen Eco Nature Park, Zuluk village, the Zigzag Road and Zigzag Viewpoint, Thambi Viewpoint, Tukla Valley, Gnathang Valley, Old Baba Mandir, Kupup Lake and Tsomgo Lake. Check in at your hotel.

Overnight: Gangtok

Day 4: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out on a local sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Banjhakri Falls, Bakthang Falls, Gonjang Monastery, Tashi Viewpoint, Lasha Falls, Hurhure Dara, Ganesh Tok, Bhoot Bangla and Enchey Monastery.

Overnight: Gangtok

Day 5: Departure – Bagdogra / NJP

After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Your tour ends with sweet memories of Sikkim.

• Accommodation in well-appointed rooms on double / twin sharing basis (inclusive of applicable GST)
