How do I reach Uttarakhand?

Dehradun (Jolly Grant) has direct flights from your city, Mumbai, Bengaluru and other cities, and Pantnagar serves the Nainital and Corbett side. Trains run to Haridwar, Dehradun and Kathgodam from across India, and Nainital, Mussoorie and Rishikesh are 5 to 7 hours by road from Delhi.

What is the best time to visit Uttarakhand?

March to June is pleasant for hill stations and rafting, and September to November brings clear Himalayan views. Snow falls at Auli, and sometimes Nainital and Mussoorie, from December to February. July and August bring heavy rain and landslides.

How many days are enough for Uttarakhand?

4 to 5 nights covers Nainital and Jim Corbett, or Mussoorie and Rishikesh. With 6 nights or more you can combine both, or add Auli.
