Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Maasai Mara

Upon your arrival at Maasai Mara you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Maasai Mara on your own

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Views of Mount Kilimanjaro

Amboseli is set on the Kenyan plains with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in the distance, the park is world-famous for its substantial population of African Elephants which can be seen in herds of over 100 individuals. In particular the large bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom. Also to be spotted are ample herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala, as well as giraffes and warthog. With all this variety you can be sure a healthy population of predators also call Amboseli home. Lions, leopards, caracals, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and serval cats are all frequently seen in the park.

Day 3: Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

Enjoy Free WIFI connection and stream live photos and videos to family and friends back at home. A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Our driver will pick you from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning for this exciting tour. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species recorded.

Day 4: Scenic Drive to Maasai Mara via Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, transfer to Naivasha arriving late morning. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride (optional visit to Crescent Island) There is just one “Crescent Island Game Sanctuary”. Located on Lake Naivasha, in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is often called Naivasha’s best-kept secret. Surrounded by water, it is actually a peninsula and is currently only accessible by boat from the East or West side. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park, hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra, and Gazelle. Hippo graze all over us at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. Often you can see three generations of Giraffe at a time, all of whom have been born on the Island. And if you’re lucky you may see one of the beautiful Pythons who live here. From the top of the hill, there is a 360-degree view across the Lake from Longo not to Hell’s Gate to the Mau Escarpment to Eburu and onto the Aberdares. Walking along the ridge in the golden hour before sunset whilst watching the animals grazing with the water shimmering beyond, is what Africa is all about.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Optional Boat Ride & Bird Watching

Today you can take an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha to get close to the birdlife, including pelicans, cormorants and fish eagles. The lake is known for its large population of hippos, often seen resting in the shallow water. You can also take a guided nature walk where zebras, giraffes and waterbucks graze peacefully. Overnight stay at Lake Naivasha.

Day 6: Maasai Mara Exploration & Great Migration Experience

Maasai Mara National Reserve (Maasai mara national reserve) is one of the significant popular tourism highlights in Kenya, it’s situated in South-western Kenya along the Great Rift Valley area in Norok county Kenya close to Serengeti national park of Tanzania all around Mara Region/ Maasai mara region. The Maasai people, the Reserve's original inhabitants, referred to the region as Mara, which means spotted circles of trees, savanna, scrub, and cloud shadows.

Day 7: Departure from Maasai Mara to Nairobi Airport

This morning, check-out from your hotel. Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
