Overview

An 11-night journey across France from Paris to the French Riviera. Visit the Eiffel Tower with a Seine river cruise, spend a day at Disneyland Paris, take a Champagne tasting trip to Reims, then travel by train to Lyon, Marseille and Nice for museums, cruises and Mediterranean sightseeing. Includes hotels, daily breakfast, train transfers and sightseeing.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival into Paris

Welcome to Fashion capital of the world! Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Check in and relax. Rest of the day is free to relax or explore Paris on your own.

Day 2: Paris City Tour with Visit to Eiffel Tower & Seine River Cruise (Shared)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, Discover Paris's most famous monuments and tourist sights on a single tour. This excursion is one of the best Eiffel Tower tours and features a visit to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower with breath-taking views of the capital and a panoramic city tour by coach. This combined tour is the ideal way to discover Paris for the first time. Your tour by air-conditioned panoramic coach offers you the opportunity to learn about the history of Paris and to discover its great monuments, squares, and neighborhoods through an audio guide commentary (individual headsets). Admire Paris's unique sights: Place Vendome Square, the Orsay Museum, Place de la Concorde Square, the Opera House, the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Invalides. Your excursion will end at the Eiffel Tower.

Day 3: Disneyland Paris Full Day Tour - 1 Day 2 Park Tickets - with Private Transfers

Today you travel on board your luxury coach (if transfer option is selected) from the centre of Paris to Disneyland. Your one-day pass to Disneyland Resort gives you a full day in one of the two parks - Walt Disney Studios Park or the Disneyland Park. If you visit the Disneyland Park which is the magic world where you will meet all the Disney characters who live in an endless fairy tale and Walt Disney Studio Park where you go behind the scenes of the movies, cartoons and TV shows. Disneyland Paris has many different attractions for tourists to experience with its top attractions being It's a Small World, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Light year Laser Blast and many more. Truly a fun filled day for the families. Return back to Paris in the evening. Overnight in Paris.

Day 4: Champagne Day Trip with 6 Tastings, Reims and Winery from Paris (Shared)

Begin with a guided visit of the gothic masterpiece that is Reims Cathedral, for centuries the place for the Kings of France's coronation, and an orientation tour of the typically French provincial town. See first-hand the techniques and equipment that make the creation of Champagne possible and taste the wonderful end result with a guided visit of the Mumm Champagne cellars with champagne tasting. Enjoy free time for lunch in downtown Reims which has an excellent selection of cafes and bistros in a typically French setting. In the afternoon, drive to Epernay for a guided visit of the Mercier wine cellars where the grape harvest and wine-making process is explained before more wine tasting. This day out in beautiful Reims is sure to pop anyone’s cork! Celebrate the history and heritage of the Champagne region, discover the delights of Reims Cathedral and town, and enjoy a tipple or two during this Reims Champagne excursion. Return back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer from Paris to Lyon by Train

Check-out from your hotel in the morning and you will be transferred to the train station to take your train to Lyon. Upon arrival at Lyon reach the hotel (on your own) and check in. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to relax. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 6: Cinema & Miniatures Museum Entrance - Musée des Confluences - Sightseeing cruise in Lyon

Set sail on the Saone River for 1-hour to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage sites and Lyon's landmark monuments from a different perspective. Enjoy the Renaissance buildings of Vieux Lyon, the political and religious centers of the Middle Ages, as well as the architecture. Then take a walk to enjoy the fascinating comments of your guide and travel through the centuries of the city's history.

Day 7: Transfer from Lyon to Marseille by Train

Check-out from your hotel in the morning and you will be transferred to the train station to take your train to Marseille. Upon arrival at Marseille reach the hotel (on your own) and check in. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Marseille Day at Leisure

Today is your day at leisure. Walk up to Vieux Port and join a Hop On Hop Off tour. You may choose to also take a boat trip to Parc national des Calanques.

Day 9: Transfer from Marseille to Nice by Train

Check-out from your hotel in the morning and you will be transferred to the train station to take your train to Nice. Upon arrival at nice reach the hotel (on your own) and check in. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Half Day Nice City Tour - Small Group Tour

Browse the Promenade des Anglais along the sea 7 km and admire the Albert I Gardens and Theatre de Verdure, the Negresco and its neoclassical façade built in 1912. Towards the Castle and its shady park with Mediterranean trees. You will be captivated by the panoramic view extending from Nice to Esterel but also overlooking the Port and Mont Boron. You will also appreciate the ornamental waterfall. You go to Cimiez, aristocratic area of Nice and discover the Regina Palace where Queen Victoria stayed. You will also find the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater and its neighborhood (11th century) near the Matisse Museum. Admire the Franciscan Monastery of the same and its rose gardens. In the Russian neighborhood, admire the Saint Nicolas Orthodox Cathedral opened in 1912, Russia's largest religious building outside Russia. Stroll through the old town of Nice and discover the Palais de Justice, the Opera and the famous flower market on the Cours Saleya court (morning only). The old town is situated between the city center and the sea also called the " Vieux Nice.

Day 11: Full Day Monaco and Montecarlo Day Tour - Small Group Tour

"Your tour starts on the scenic roads of the "Moyenne Corniche" offering a splendid view over Villefranche -sur-mer and the peninsula of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.", En route to Monaco, make a first stop to discover the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites of the French Riviera. Dating from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. The walls of the twelfth century will be dismantled in 1706 by order of Louis XIV. Take the cobbled streets and reach the top where you can find today the exotic garden and the castle ruins, the view is amazing (427 meters high). Visit the famous Fragonard perfume factory down to the village. Go through the village of La Turbie, also called the "Monaco terrace" because of the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument (50 meters high) : the Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, built 7 BC on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez (the Roman Quarter Nice) longtime ago. You will then reach the Principality of Monaco. Spend the afternoon in the old town on "Le Rocher" (the rock) overlooking the sea and harbor (60 meters high), where you will discover :, The Prince's Palace and the Changing of the Guard at 11:55. In front of the Palais du Prince, you will notice the Carabinieri Barracks. Created on the 8th of December 1817, the Carabinieri have for main missions to ensure the safety of the Royal Family as well as maintain public order. The Cathedral of neo-Roman style, the first stone was laid the 6th of January 1875. Entirely built in white stones from La Turbie career during the reign of Prince Charles III, it was completed on the 12th of November 1903. You can pay tribute to the Monaco Princes and "Princesse Grace de Monaco" who rest here.

Day 12: Departure from Nice

This morning check-out from your hotel. Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight back home.
