Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Helsinki Airport

Upon your arrival at Helsinki Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Transfer from Helsinki Hotel to Helsinki Airport – Arrival at Ivalo

This morning check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred from hotel to Helsinki Airport, Upon your arrival at Ivalo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Lapland. Reach your hotel check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Ivalo - Day at leisure

Day 4: Transfer from Ivalo to Rovaniemi - Northern lights sledge ride by snowmobile

This morning check out and you will be picked and transferred to from your hotel in Ivalo region to Rovaniemi. Upon reaching Rovaniemi check in. Join a sled ride in Lapland's Winter Wonderland. Go on northern lights sled adventure from Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi for a chance to witness the magical auroras and breathtaking Lapland landscapes. Your expert guide will take you to the best wilderness locations and with some luck and a clear sky, you might see the flaming northern lights dancing in the sky while you experience the tranquility of the arctic night.

Day 5: Northern lights sledge ride by snowmobile

Join a sled ride in Lapland's Winter Wonderland. Go on northern lights sled adventure from Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi for a chance to witness the magical auroras and breathtaking Lapland landscapes. Your expert guide will take you to the best wilderness locations and with some luck and a clear sky, you might see the flaming northern lights dancing in the sky while you experience the tranquility of the arctic night.

Day 6: Santa Claus Village, Reindeer Farm and Husky Park Visit

Experience an action-packed arctic journey as you ride snowmobiles through stunning wilderness, and meet enchanting reindeer and energetic Alaskan huskies. Your expert guide will provide winter clothing and snowmobile training before taking off on a snowmobile adventure through Arctic Circle forests to the husky and reindeer farm. Learn to drive your own reindeer sled on a 500m ride and receive a reindeer sled driver's license. Warm up with refreshments and biscuits by a crackling fire while local reindeer herders share their lifestyle insights. Next, make your way to the Alaskan husky farm where you'll find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. See the Alaskan huskies in action on a short sleigh ride. Then, head back to Santa Claus Village for free time to explore the Christmas atmosphere, meet Santa, and shop for gifts. Your day will start and end with a transfer back to your accommodation in Rovaniemi.

Day 7: Fly from Rovaniemi to Helsinki - Helsinki Hop on Hop off

See the best sights of Helsinki and hear the true story of the city on this combo tour including a hop-on hop-off bus tour and a historical sightseeing cruise. Listen to the onboard audio commentary to learn more about the true story of Helsinki and enjoy views from the top deck of your double-decker bus. Stop at Market Square to join a sightseeing cruise and see the city from the sea.

Day 8: Sky Wheel Helsinki 360° viewing experience - Guided tour of Tallinn with included ferry ride from Helsinki

The tour takes you from Helsinki to Tallinn and see one of the best-preserved old towns in Europe. Upon arriving to Helsinki Western port (Lansiterminali 2), aboard the ferry and after 2 hours of pleasant cruising you'll arrive in Tallinn! Stroll around Tallinn's charming Old Town, you'll be visiting its best monuments. First, the Alexander Nevskii cathedral, then the Kadriorg park and Royal Palace, the Tallinn town hall square and finally the Toompea castle. You’ll be back to Helsinki by 9.15pm. You can stop for photos at Sibelius monument and Senate Square. After lunch, you will continue in an air-conditioned coach to Porvoo, one of the medieval towns, which has a completely different spirit compared to Helsinki. This beautiful wooden town played a crucial role in the country’s history. You will discover the top attractions of Helsinki and Porvoo. Your tour will finish at Helsinki Market Square.

Day 10: Departure from Helsinki

This morning check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred from hotel to airport in Helsinki for your flight back home.
