Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Brussels

Arrival at Brussels. Afterward, proceed to the hotel for your refreshment. Rest of the day is free at leisure by own arrangement. Back to the hotel, stay overnight.

Day 2: Brussels Discovery hop-on hop-off bus tour

Today After breakfast check out all the best Brussels has to offer in a day or two aboard an open-top bus. Hop on at any of the stops available on the blue and red routes and take in incredible views of the Belgian capital from above. Follow your hit list as you make your way through this open-air museum, hop off near the attractions you want to see, and explore the city at your own pace. Take the blue line if you want to experience authentic Brussels and admire most of the city's major sights: Saints-Michel-et-Gudule Cathedral, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre, the Botanical Garden, Charles Rogier Square, the Basilica of Koekelberg, Eglise Notre-Dame de Laeken, the Royal Castle of Laeken and Royal Greenhouses, the Atomium, the Magritte Museum, Sainte-Catherine Square, the Manneken-Pis and the magnificent Grote Markt - Grand Place with the outstanding City Hall and the Art Nouveau major townhouses, designated as UNESCO World Heritage in 1998.Choose the red route if you'd like to see the best viewpoint over Brussels, Mont des Arts. Also on this route are the Palace of Fine Arts, the Sablons Quarter, the European Parliament, and a bunch of museums located around the Place Royale and the Coudenberg Palace including the Musical Instruments Museum, the Horta Museum, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium as well as the Royal Museums of Art and History located in the Parc du Cinquantenaire.

Day 3: Bruges and Ghent Day Trip

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, You will depart from the Lake of Love or Minne water, one of the most beautiful postcards of this city and that hides a little-known legend. Then, immerse yourself in the medieval majesty and rich historical heritage of Bruges, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Extremely well preserved, Bruges is an open-air museum also called the "Venice of the North". During your visit, you will see the Church of Our Lady of Bruges and the beautiful Carrara marble Madonna and Child sculpture by Michelangelo. Then, on your tour, you will pass by the Palace of the Lords Gruut, an impressive city mansion that belonged to one of the richest families of the medieval city. After that, you will cross the San Bonifacio bridge and you will end at the Rosary harbor, which offers you another typical picture of the place. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy free time to eat and street the city at your leisure. In the afternoon, you will embark on the road to Ghent to discover this city full of life and history. Your visit will depart from the Town Hall, passing through the Belfort tower until you enter the impressive cathedral of Saint Bavo´s. The tour of Ghent will take you to the Pier of herbs and grains, the fish and meat market, the busy Friday Square and finally to the majestic Castle of the Counts of Flanders.

Day 4: Luxembourg and Dinant Day Trip (Shared)

Discover the beauty of Dinant and Luxembourg on a full-day tour from Brussels. See the city's famous landmarks, including the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame, the Dinant Citadel, and the Charles de Gaulle Bridge. Take a scenic river cruise to see the city from a different perspective. Next, the tour takes you to Luxembourg, a small but beautiful country that is home to some of the most impressive fortresses and castles in Europe. In Luxembourg, you will have the opportunity to explore the old town and visit landmarks like the Grand Ducal Palace, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Place d'Armes. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by an expert guide who will provide you with insights into the history and culture of both cities.

Day 5: Chocolate Museum Entrance with Tasting

Dive into the universe of cocoa and chocolate, pass a Maya temple where cocoa beans have been consumed 5000 years ago, step aboard the boat of Cortez who first imported cocoa beans to Europe. Discover how chocolate was being made at the French court of Versailles in the 17th Century and how the “praline” was crafted beginning of the 20th Century in Belgium. Get familiar with the cocoa culture and its transformation! A chocolate-making demonstration, audio guide are included in the visit, as well as a tasting session.

Day 6: Departure from Brussels

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and you will be picked up and transferred to Brussels Airport to catch your flight back home. Your trip ends with sweet memories.
