Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Almaty and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Almaty, Arrival to Manas Almaty airport. Immigration and customs procedure. Meet & Greet Service outside of Arrival Hall. Transfers to the Almaty City, 40 Kms from the Airport.

Day 2: City Tour + Shymbulak

Your guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby in Almaty to start the tour. During the Sightseeing tour around Almaty, you will have amazing chance to visit following places:, *The historical Center of Almaty, *28 Panfilov’s Guardsmen Park, *Republic and Independence Square, *Opera and Ballet Theater, *Astana and Abay Square, *Arbat Walking and shopping street, *Visiting Green Bazar and Rahat chocolate market, *Shymbulak.

Day 3: Kolsai Lakes - Private (Excluding Entrance Tickets)

High in the mountains, in the bridge connecting Trans-Ili Alatau mountain ranges and Kungei-Alatau, between the slopes of Kolsay Gorges overgrown with tall spruce safely hidden these natural jewels - wonderful lakes, The enchanting beauty and splendor of the majestic mountain landscapes and the fabulously beautiful Kolsay lakes, the silence and tranquility that prevails here, fascinating and intoxicating with juicy aroma of herbs and flowers, giving peace and serenity, which is so lacking in the eternal bustle of big cities and the crazy rhythm of modern life.

Day 4: Gorky Park and Kok Tobe Tour

The guide and the driver will take the guests from the hotel in the morning. The tour will start off Botanic Garden Park. After Lunch our excursion will continue in Gorky Amusement park. Then head to Kok Tobe. Kok Tobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to Kok Tobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the Kok Tobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Kazakhstan and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit growing gardens. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city plus a few attractions at the top.

Day 5: Day Trip to Medeu Ice Skating Rink and Shymbulak Ski Resort

Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby in Almaty to start the tour. Depart Almaty and drive to Medeo Gorge. Visit the huge Medeo dam, that protects the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tian Shan mountains. From the top of the dam, at the altitude of 1733 meters above the sea level, enjoy view of the largest high mountain skating rink in the world – Medeo, surrounded by marvelous mountains of Trans-Ili Alatau. From Medeo, take a ride to the mountain ski resort Chimbulak and then up to the Big Talgar pass (3200 m above sea level) by the cable car. Enjoy amazing views of the snow peaks and the Tian Shan mountains glaciers. After that visit the top of Kok-Tobe hill, where you can enjoy unforgettable panorama of Almaty from the observation desk. At the foot of the tallest TV tower in Kazakhstan you can take a walk along the winding paths of the Kok-Tobe Park, where you will come across "The Beatles" monument devoted to the popular Liverpool band. At the end of the tour take a short ride from the hill to the city center by the cable car. Transfer to the hotel. End of the tour.

Day 6: Almaty Departure

This morning, check-out from your hotel. Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
