After breakfast at hotel morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Cochin.
Cochin - was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. (Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue closed on Friday & Saturday)
Afternoon straight drive to Munnar, upon arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast, morning explore the picturesque hill station. Anaimudi (2,695 m), South India’s highest peak, the Christ Church, the Rajamala Hills, Top Station and the Madupetty Dam. Travelers can also indulge in activities like boating and horse riding here. (Eravikulam National Park is shut from 15 Jan to 15 Mar; during these dates Park visits cannot be done but all other sightseeing tours shall be provided as per the itinerary). In the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast at hotel drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check in at hotel.
Later proceed for boat ride (On direct payment) on the splendid Periyar Lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. The Park encompasses 26 sq. km. of artificial lake take a boat ride on the lake to view wild life and water birds. The greatest attraction here is the herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake to frolic in the waters. Wild Boars, Sambar, Wild Dogs, Langur Monkeys, Bison, Red fox can also be spotted in the forest. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Kumarakom, upon arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon proceeds to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - It might be more accurate to refer to this location as a nature sanctuary, since this protected area is home to a huge selection of different species of flora and fauna. Birds however, are especially prevalent and of particular interest, there being a mix of both indigenous and migratory species. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast at hotel straight drive to Kovalom. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Kovalam, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, one of the ancient cities in South India and the capital of Kerala State, the small and beautiful city is hidden inside lush greenery and built up on seven tiny hills. The magnificent Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is the landmark of the city (NB Non Hindus are not permitted inside the Temple). The Napier Museum (Closed on Mondays and Wednesdays) houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast at hotel morning drive for an excursion tour of Kanyakumari, famous for its brilliant sunsets and sunrises. It is India's ‘land's' end at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial which was built in memory of Swami Vivekananda, the Indian philosopher who meditated and transformed into a spiritual leader. Kanyakumari is the only place in India where one can watch the sun set and moon rise simultaneously on a full moon evening.
Later drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, drop off at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast at hotel, in time departure transfer to Trivandrum airport to board flight for onwards. (Breakfast).
