A 5-night Uttarakhand road trip from Delhi to Nainital, Jim Corbett and Mussoorie. Enjoy boating and sightseeing around Nainital's lakes, a wildlife stay at Jim Corbett, and the views and waterfalls of Mussoorie, the Queen of the Hills. Includes hotels, meals as per itinerary, transfers by car, sightseeing and entrance tickets.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Nainital (320 km – 8 hrs approx.)

Depart Delhi early at 5:00 AM and drive to Nainital, arriving around 1:00 PM. Check in at your hotel near Mall Road. After freshening up, begin sightseeing with a boat ride on the famous Naini Lake (at your own cost) and a visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Then visit Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothy's Seat, a popular viewpoint over Nainital and the surrounding hills (sightseeing as time permits). In the evening, enjoy shopping on Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 2: Nainital sightseeing & Nearby Attractions

After breakfast, explore the attractions around Nainital. Take the cable car to Snow View Point for panoramic views of snow-covered Himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi and Trishul. Visit the Eco Cave Gardens, a fun series of animal-shaped caves that kids love, and the G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo on Sher-ka-Danda hill, home to rare Himalayan species like the snow leopard, Himalayan bear and Bengal tiger. Also see Raj Bhavan (Governor's House), a Victorian Gothic heritage building with lush gardens and a golf course (entry tickets at your own cost). The evening is free for shopping on Mall Road or relaxing at a café. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 3: Nainital to Jim Corbett

Start early from Nainital around 7:00 AM and drive about 2 to 2.5 hours (approx. 65 km) to Jim Corbett National Park, entering via the Ramnagar area. Enjoy the scenic drive through hills and forests. With your pre-booked jeep safari permit (mandatory for the core zone, with ID verification), set off on a guided open-jeep safari. Look out for Royal Bengal tigers, wild elephants, leopards, deer and over 600 bird species including hornbills, kingfishers and eagles. Later, visit the Garjiya Devi Temple, set on a rock in the Kosi river, and the Corbett Museum. If time permits, explore the small market near Ramnagar for handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jim Corbett.

Day 4: Jim Corbett to Mussoorie (200 km – 5 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Mussoorie. Check in at your hotel and set out for local sightseeing. Walk along Camel's Back Road, a peaceful 3 km trail shaped like a camel's back, running from Library Point to Kulri Bazaar, with beautiful views of the Himalayas and the Doon Valley. Visit Christ Church, built in 1836 and one of the oldest churches in the Himalayan region. The evening is free for shopping and dining on Mall Road. Overnight stay in Mussoorie.

Day 5: Mussoorie local sightseeing

After breakfast, continue sightseeing in Mussoorie. Take the ropeway or hike up to Gun Hill, the second-highest point in Mussoorie, for panoramic views of the Himalayas and Doon Valley. Visit Kempty Falls, about 15 km from town, perfect for photos and a quick splash. Stroll through Company Garden with its small lake and flower displays, and visit Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, with a telescope viewing station and cosy cafés, popular for sunrise and sunset views. In the evening, shop on Mall Road for woollens, local crafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Mussoorie.

Day 6: Mussoorie to Delhi (310 km – 9 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi for your onward journey. Your Uttarakhand holiday ends with wonderful memories.
