Overview

A 10-night Swiss holiday with an 8-day Swiss Travel Pass. Visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate and Rhine Falls from Zurich, ride up to Mount Titlis from Lucerne, explore Grindelwald First and the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe – from Interlaken, and end in Geneva with a boat trip to Yvoire. Includes hotels, daily breakfast, train travel, sightseeing and entrance tickets.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Zurich

Upon your arrival in Zurich, head to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Rest of the afternoon is free to explore Zurich on your own. You can opt to go to Bahnhofstrasse, meaning "Station Street" is the main downtown street in Zurich. It is home to some of the city's best shops, like Bvlgari, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and many more. Overnight stay in Zurich

Day 2: Lindt Home of Chocolate (with Swiss Pass)

Take local transport using Swiss pass to visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate at Kilchberg near Zurich by Swiss star architects Christ & Gantenbein. Marvel at its vast atrium with the world's highest freestanding chocolate fountain - the perfect spot for your souvenir photo. Join an interactive audio-guided tour through the chocolate museum and journey the history of chocolate from bean to bar followed by unlimited chocolate tasting.

Day 3: Rhine Falls Tour (Using Swiss Pass)

This enchanting morning tour takes you on a scenic route through Northern Switzerland and shows you the stunning Rhine Falls. See the medieval Castle Laufen settled directly above the falls and feel the roar and vibration of Europe's biggest waterfalls from the panoramic trails and viewing platforms. Sit back and relax on a comfortable coach while listening to your multilingual guide explaining Switzerland's interesting history and culture. Drive through the picturesque landscape with gently rolling vineyards and charming farming villages to reach the splendid medieval Castle Laufen. Enjoy approximately one hour of leisure time at the mighty Rhine Falls, one of Switzerland's major attractions. Delight in unique views of Europe's biggest waterfalls from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. A beautiful, short stroll on the Belvedere panoramic trail takes you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Capture stunning photographs of the cataract, the fizzy waters of the below basin, and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Visit the Historama at the patriarchal castle to learn more about the interesting history of this unique place. The return journey passes by the picturesque town of Schaffhausen with its well-known Munot Fortress from the 16th century. The way then continues for a short stretch through Germany.

Day 4: Transfer from Zurich to Lucerne by Train

After a delicious breakfast, check out form your hotel and proceed to railway station. Board your train and enroute to Lucerne using your Swiss Pass. On arrival transfer to your hotel your own and check-in.

Day 5: Full Day Tour of Mount Titlis

Mt. Titlis lives up to its hype as one of Switzerland's top destinations, and a guided day trip is the easiest way to see it from Zurich. Travel by coach and panoramic cable car to the summit without worrying about navigation or organizing tickets. Activity fees, photo stops, and a Lucerne visit are included. During winter, upgrade to include the snow experience, where beginners can try skiing

Day 6: Transfer from Lucerne - Interlaken

Check out form your hotel and proceed to railway station. Board your train and enroute to Interlaken using your Swiss Pass. On arrival transfer to your hotel your own and check-in. The day is free to spend at leisure.

Day 7: Excursion to Grindelwald First

If you want to be at the Top of Adventure then Grindelwald First is the place you must go to. Being a part of the Jungfrau region and located at an altitude of 2166m, not only do you get magnificent views of the Eiger North Face, but also a definite adrenaline rush with the activities it offers. Like most mountains, you must go up to the peak by cable car, but unlike most mountains, you experience a completely different side of things on the way down. Instead of coming down by cable car, you can come down in the most exciting ways as follows:, First Glider or First Flyer, From the peak to Schreckfeld, First Glider: Take flight with an eagle and glide down with it. Float through the most picturesque mountain landscape and enjoy the views en route this 800-metre journey at 83 kms/hr. You have to be a minimum of 10 years and 130 cm in height to fly on the Glider.

Day 8: Full Day Excursion to Jungfraujoch

Enjoy a delightful breakfast and board the famous Jungfrau train and travel to Kleine Scheidegg via Lauterbrunnen. Reach the beautiful Swiss snow peaks Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe which is the highest station of Europe. Get panoramic views over the borders of Switzerland on the Sphinx vantage terrace? 3571 m. Tour on the history & construction of the Jungfrau Railway at the Alpine Sensation. See the impressive ice sculptures, 30 metres under the surface of glacier at the Ice Palace. Enjoy the fun Snow activities like the summer skiing & snowboarding, sledge & zip line & also have a unique shopping experience at Top of Europe. Dive into the fascinating world of chocolate. Visit the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven at 3,454 metres above sea level offering selection of Lindt's finest chocolate. Enjoy a hot meal in one of the 5 restaurants there. You may also explore the range of international restaurants. Return back to Interlaken.

Day 9: Transfer from Interlaken to Geneva by Train

Wake up to breakfast this morning following which it’s time to head to the train station and board your train to for Geneva. Upon arrival make your way to your hotel on foot. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to explore this unique little town. Overnight in Geneva.

Day 10: Bus Trip to Yvoire with boat cruise

Go on a trip to the medieval village Yvoire from Geneva by bus and marvel at the enchanting town. Relax on a Belle Epoque steamer on your way back to Geneva. Drive along Geneva Lake with the bus and reach the fortified village of Yvoire. Travel back in time and appreciate the beauty of Yvoire, a city frozen in medieval times. Take a photo of the historic castle built in 1036 and see the military dungeon built in the 14th century. Stroll through the tiny streets and immerse yourself in the nice atmosphere. Enjoy your free time and discover one of the most beautiful villages of France at your own pace. On this self-guided tour, you will receive a map with highlights of the area as well as details on departure points and times. Take the chance and taste one of the local specialties like the fish dish 'filet de perche' in front of the magnificent lake. For the return trip to Geneva, cross the lake aboard the paddle steamer Belle Epoque. Relax on the boat and enjoy the idyllic landscape of Lake Geneva.

Day 11: Departure from Geneva

Today after breakfast check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to Geneva airport to catch your return flight back home. Tour ends with sweet memories.
