Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Zurich - Transfer to Interlaken- Swiss Travel Pass Continuous 6 Days I 2nd Class

The perfect way to start your holiday arrive Zurich & you will be met at Zurich airport and transferred to Interlaken. On arrival into Interlaken make your way to the Hotel & relax for the rest of the day. Enjoy the salubrious environs & walk along the long promenades. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 2: Jungfraujoch Excursion

Set on an exciting excursion to Jungfraujoch, the 'Top of Europe' on your Switzerland holiday! Named after Jungfrau, the highest mountain in the region, this destination is a must-visit if you want to witness the beauty of the Swiss Alps in all its glory. Ride a cogwheel train to the highest railway station in Europe, where the scenic views will astound you! From the Great Aletsch Glacier and Ice Palace to the Ice Gateway, Sphinx Observation Terrace, and High Alpine Research Station, you will find many attractions at the summit. Route 1: Scenic mountain train via Kleine Scheidegg. Route 2: Eiger Express cable car + cogwheel train.

Day 3: Stanserhorn CabriO Cableway (Free with Swiss Pass)

The Stanserhorn CabriO cableway is completely free if you have the Swiss Travel Pass. Simply present your pass at the ticket counter and you will get a return ticket at no cost. The exciting trip up the Stanserhorn on the CabriO cableway and funicular railway, which dates back to 1893, is like taking a trip through cableway history. A 100 kilometer Alpine chain, 10 Swiss lakes, Stanserhorn rangers, marmots, a plant protection area with enchanting flora and fauna, culinary delights in the Stanserhorn revolving restaurant, the specialty lplermagronen from an edelweiss pot and lots more are just waiting to be discovered on the Stanserhorn. 1,900 meters above everyday life recommended by leading lazybones. A very warm welcome to the Stanserhorn Railway. The journey up the Stanserhorn begins with a trip on the historic funicular railway to the Klti midway station (takes around 10 minutes). At the Klti midway station, change to the CabriO cableway and travel up the Stanserhorn in just under 10 minutes. There is an on-demand stop at Bluematt*. The trip from Stans up the Stanserhorn takes around 25 minutes. Getting To The Stanserhorn : We recommend making a day of it and getting the boat from Lucerne to Stansstad, at least in one direction. Taking a boat trip on Lake Lucerne is a highlight of any visit to Lucerne. That way, you can kill two birds with one trip. Lucerne to Beckenried by Boat, then Beckenried to Stans by Bus. If you have already done the boat ride and don't want to do again, then take the train directly from Lucerne to Stans and same way to return.

Day 4: Mount Titlis Excursion with Ice Flyer

Embark on a chilling adventure with an excursion to Mt. Titlis. Delight in the snowy vistas as you board the world's first revolving cable car- Titlis Rotair, to reach the top of the mountain! Feel the crisp mountain breeze brush against your cheeks and enjoy the stunning panoramic view. Walk the highest suspension bridge in Europe- The Titlis Cliff and feel the thrill at an altitude of 15,500 ft. Experience sub-zero temperatures as you tour the Glacier Cave, an ice-filled wonder. Then, take a ride on the Ice Flyer- a unique chairlift, and glide over deep glacier crevasses. Reach the Glacier Park and enjoy activities like snow-tubing and sledding or simply relax as you soak in the majestic vibe of Mt.Titlis. You could also hike around the lush green fields of Lake Trubsee and unwind amidst the mesmerising views. Directions: From outside Engelberg train station, either take a local bus to the Mt. Titlis cable car station or enjoy a 10-minute walk

Day 5: 1.5-Hour Small-Group Nightwatchman Walk in Medieval Lucerne

Explore medieval Lucerne on the Nightwatchman Walking Tour. See the illuminated attractions and hear the comments and background stories of the Nightwatchman. You will hear about ghosts, demons and witches and the Legend of the Riot of Lucerne. You will learn about living in Lucerne in the middle ages, you get information about law and order of that time. The Nightwatchman Guide is dressed in medieval style and equipped with a traditional Swiss halberd. He takes you through narrow streets and hidden places of the historic Centre of Lucerne. The tour is surrounded by pictures presented with a projector, on iPad and on postcards.

Day 6: Departure from Zurich

After breakfast, check out and travel by train to Zurich, followed by a private transfer from Zurich train station to Zurich Airport for your onward flight. Your tour ends with wonderful memories.
