Overview

A quick 4-night Sri Lanka adventure from Colombo to the hills. Travel up to the tea country of Nuwara Eliya, continue to Belihuloya for waterfalls and outdoor adventure in the countryside, and return to Colombo. Includes hotels, daily breakfast, transfers, sightseeing and entrance tickets.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

Arrive at Colombo Airport, collect your baggage and proceed to arrival lounge, our executive will be waiting for you, meet and greet followed by assisted transfer to Negombo- A beach front resort close to Airport. Arrive and check in at the hotel for rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Negombo.

Day 2: Colombo – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s “Little England”. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Later proceed to Kitulgala, to enjoy the adrenalin rushing sport of White Water rafting. The Grade III rapids on Kelani River are equally exciting for experienced as well as beginners. Evening is spent at leisure. Stay overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - Belihuloya

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Horton Plains National Park, the plateau is the origin place for three of the major Sri Lankan rivers the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. With an altitude of 2,100–2,300 metres (6,900–7,500 ft) is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. Take the Nature Trail’s to World’s End, enjoy mountain biking up to Belihuloya via Satan’s Steps. Later check in at the Camping site of Belihuloya. Enjoy an evening Barbeque dinner and stay overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Belihuloya - Colombo

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Campsite. Later enjoy a canoeing expedition in Samanalawewa Reservoir. Afternoon check out and drive to Colombo to arrive in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. . Evening enjoy a quick half day sightseeing and shopping tour of Colombo, including visit to Viharamahadevi Park, Gangaramaya Buddhist temple, National Museum, Town Hall, BMICH and the markets of Pettah for street shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 5: Departure from Colombo

After breakfast, in time transfer to the Airport for onwards flight.
