Day 1: Arrival at Vienna

Welcome to Vienna! Vienna, also described as Europe's cultural capital, is a metropolis with unique charm, vibrancy and flair. It boasts outstanding infrastructure, is clean and safe, and has all the inspiration that you could wish for in order to discover this wonderful part of Europe. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Vienna on your own.

Day 2: Vienna Hop on Hop off Tour - Big Bus tour of Vienna (24 hours)

See all of Vienna’s top sights and attractions in 1 or 2 days. Ride the double-decker bus, hopping on and off at several stops around the city. Learn more about the residence of the Habsburg dynasty at the Hofburg Palace. Discover the Baroque buildings of imperial Vienna along the famous Ring Street and don't miss the history of Schoen Brunn Palace., 48-hour ticket options holders can also enjoy a walking tour of the city, which departs daily at 11.30 am from bus stop 1 (Opera). Each walking tour is led by a qualified guide who will give you an insight into the area's history and culture. Your guide will touch on the intriguing lives of the Habsburgs, who belonged to one of the most influential and distinguished royal houses of Europe. During your tour, you'll also hear facts and stories about some of the city's famous composers, including Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss and Brahms. Day 3: Vienna City Tour with Schoenbrunn Palace - Private Tour (including Entrance Tickets)

This morning, we proceed on a guided city tour of Vienna. The city tour will take us along the Ring Strasse, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world-famous art treasures of the Habsburgs and the National History Museum, the cultural district of the Museums Quartier, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall & the Burg theater. The highlight of this tour will be visit to the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace. The Palace with its surrounding buildings and the huge park is one of the most significant cultural monuments in Austria. It was generally used as the summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. On the way back to the Opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace which houses the largest Gustav Klimt collection in the world. The two magnificent palaces on the Belvedere grounds lie in the middle of a splendid park. They were constructed for Prince Eugene of Savoy by J.L. von Hildebrandt, a famous Baroque architect. Day 4: Transfer from Vienna Hotel to Vienna Train Station - High Speed Train from Vienna to Salzburg

Day morning, check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the train station to catch your train to Salzburg. Upon your arrival at Salzburg train station walk to your hotel and check-in. Check-in and relax. Evening is free for you to explore Salzburg on your own.

Day 5: Hop On - Hop Off Salzburg City Tour - 24 hours

Discover the key sights and landmarks of Salzburg from the comfort of your seat on board the hop-on-hop-off bus! You can hop on and off as often as you wish and explore the attractions at your own pace. The onboard audio guide will tell you about the history of the city and its famous sights. Day 6: Day Tour to Hallstatt - half-day trip from Salzburg by bus

Enjoy a half-day trip through the famous UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Region Salzkammergut (Lake area) to Hallstatt known as the Pearl of the Salzkammergut and considered as one of the most beautiful lake side villages in the world. After passing many picturesque local villages you'll arrive in Hallstatt, where you can take a leisurely lakeside walk seeing how the houses above you cling onto the mountainside, pass by the Mühlbach waterfall which allowed Hallstatt somewhere to grow. Visit also the Bone House behind the Catholic church, proving an interesting view into local family life. Or join an optional mountain train ride up to the "World Heritage View" viewing platform (reduced rate), giving you both a magnificent view and helping you understand how Hallstatt started life. A visit to the local museum is also interesting (optional) during your 2,5 hours in Hallstatt.

Day 7: Transfer from Salzburg to Vienna - Vienna City Card with discounts and public transport - 48 hours

This morning, check-out from your hotel and walk to the train station to take your train to Vienna (using your Austria Pass). On arrival at Vienna, you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax for some time. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Vienna on your own.
