Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Yerevan

Arrival at Yerevan. Afterward, proceed to the hotel for your refreshment. Rest of the day is free at leisure by own arrangement. Back to the hotel, stay overnight.

Day 2: Yerevan City Tour with English Speaking Guide

We will start our visit with Mother Armenia a female personification of Armenia. Her most public visual rendering is a monumental statue in Victory Park overlooking the capital city of Yerevan, Armenia. Then we will go down by giant staircase Cascade, after we will continue to Opera House and by pedestrian rout North Avenue we will reach Republic Square. Then we will continue our tour to Tsitsernakaberd the memorial dedicated to the victims of genocide after we will see President house, National Academy and Parliament house. Day 3: Full Day Excursion to Tsaghkadzor, Lake Sevan and Dilijan

Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers”) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour around the small town. Opportunity to go up to the mountain peaks by rope way, where you will catch an unforgettable gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back, 8 USD extra per pax). There is also opportunity to go to zip line (25 USD extra per pax). In winter Tsakhkadzor is a well- known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit Kecharis monastery and after on rope way to Teghenis Mountain. Drive to Sevan Lake the second biggest lake in the world visit Sevanavank monastery with panoramic view over the lake. In summer you can swim in the lake. After visit Dilijan city with fantastic forests. We will visit Haghartsin Monastic Complex. It has a magnificent medieval architectural style; the churches of this monastic complex gain extra beauty at the expense of nature. Drive back to Yerevan. Day 4: Day Excursion To Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery

Photo stop at Charentc Arc. We will visit Geghard a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the main chapel was built in 1215, the monastery complex was founded in the 4th century by Gregory the Illuminator at the site of a sacred spring inside a cave. The monastery had thus been originally named Ayrivank, meaning "the Monastery of the Cave". The name commonly used for the monastery today, Geghard, otherwise more fully Geghardavank, meaning "the Monastery of the Spear", originates from the spear which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion, allegedly brought to Armenia by Apostle Jude, called here Thaddeus, and stored amongst many other relics. Now it is displayed in the Echmiadzin treasury then we will proceed to Garni a reconstructed classical Hellenistic temple in Garni, Armenia we will return to Yerevan. Day 5: Half Day Tour to Tsaghkadzor
