Later in the afternoon you will proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of the Trivandrum City. Trivandrum was previously known as Thiruvananthapura which literally means "abode of Lord Anantha". Located on the west coast of India, it was defined by Mahatma Gandhi as the Evergreen city of India. Its scenic location make it a must visit on every itinerary to south India. Surrounded by Tiruneveli in the East, Kanyakumari to the South and Kollam district to its North, Trivandrum is truly a visitor’s paradise. Backwaters in the city lie at Vellayani, Thiruvallam and Aakulam. The other important places to visit are Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Science and Technology Museum, Shanghumugham Beach, Tropical Botanical Garden and Bay Watch. Return to the resort/hotel for overnight stay.
In morning attend your yoga and meditation session and the feel the difference from the first day. This will be followed by ayurvedic treatment using traditional herbs and oils.
